North Fulton Chamber Announces Vesta Bringing up to 500 New Jobs

(12/21/10) Alpharetta, Georgia - Brandon Beach, President & CEO of The Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, announced that electronic payments giant Vesta plans to open its newest call center in North Fulton. "We are thrilled with their decision to expand into North Fulton," Beach said in welcoming the Portland, Oregon-based company to Alpharetta. "This move will bring hundreds of jobs to our area."

Vesta has processed hundreds of millions of secure payments for goods and services through a variety of channels, including the Internet, mobile phones, retail point of sale, and industry-leading mobile commerce applications. AT&T Mobility, one of Vesta's largest customers, is one of North Fulton's major employers.

Vesta makes its move into Brookside 800, taking Coyote Logistics' current 36,000sf space at 4400 Alexander in Alpharetta. Coyote will be moving into their new 22,000sf space at 960 Northpoint Parkway the second week of January.

Vesta is busy hiring the first dozen employees. Those twelve employees will start 1/3/2011. Between 1/10/11 and the end of March, they will be hiring about 20 employees a week! By the end of the first quarter, they expect to have employed 300.

Vesta CFO Sanjay Khare indicated the company's move into North Fulton had the potential to bring more sales and account executives into the area. "We certainly intend to expand the facility," said Khare.

The North Fulton Chamber worked with Georgia Power, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Development Authority of Fulton County, the Georgia Department of Labor, Deloitte Consulting and Colliers International on the project.
